KSL is Accredited!
Hello A-KEEP Supporters! My name is Sonya and I would like to share some exciting news with you that we, A-KEEP, will provide a new Korean 1 class at Pike Road High School and Pike Road Junior High school. This is NOW a traditional accredited course, and students can receive ½ credit unit for each semester. With the theme of “Catch the K-Wave with Friends”, learners will be self-encouraged to learn and use Korean language and culture by incorporating popular K-pop, K-dramas, or K-games in the context of high school life. At the end of the course, learners will be able to make a short video clip in Korean that introduces themselves, talks about their plan for an afterschool or weekend activity with their friends, and shares some experiences with their friends.
Thanks to your support, we can expand our Korean program to local schools, and our students can enjoy the benefits of learning other languages! They can connect with other friends, advance their career, deepen their connection to other cultures and be more open-minded.
Again, thank you for all the support and help for A-KEEP.
The fund for this program is subsidized by the Korean Ministry of Education and the Atlanta Korean Education Center. 동 사업비는 대한민국 교육부 및 애틀랜타 한국교육원의 지원으로 진행되고 있음.
