안녕하세요! Let’s Look at Catch the K-Wave's First Week!
Catch the K-Wave with Friends began July 6! Students from Montgomery, Pike Road, Millbrook, even Colorado and Washington DC, joined this week’s fun at AKEEP-PRS' Summer Language Camp. The next two weeks entails an intensive time where students will learn how to ask and answer questions about what they do afterschool in Korean. Rising middle school and high school students learned a lot this week, from sports terms to days of the week. One of their favorite parts is the interaction in their K-pop dance class and in the learning center where they can self-study the way they want.
Students also met our newest teaching staff members, JuYeon and HyeWon. They will offer additional tutorial assistance as well as their own K-project class. This Friday students made origami and played a game with their origami flowers. HyeWon said, "It is my first time to visit U.S.A. and I arrived here last week! But so many things are already happening. Currently, I am assisting the teachers and dancing to K-pop songs with the students in the STARTALK program. Juyeon said she was already learning a lot by assisting and observing the teachers and students in action.
Stay tuned for JuYeon and HyeWon’s journey in our next newsletter as well as be sure to keep up to date on our STARTALK program. You can visit us on Facebook or Instagram to stay up to date.
