AKEEP Partners with Pike Road Schools for Immersive Korean-Language Summer Camp

Montgomery, AL – The Alabama-Korea Education and Economic Partnership (A-KEEP) and Pike Road Schools (PRS) will host an intensive Korean Language and Culture, non-residential summer camp titled Catch the K-Wave at Pike Road Historic Middle School for rising 6th to current 8th grade students Monday – Friday, July 8th – 26th.

Students do not need nor are expected to have any prior knowledge in Korean language or culture, but they should have a willingness to learn and explore! The $190 program fee includes Korean language classes, k-pop dance lessons, all learning materials, a commemorative tote bag, activities, daily lunch, snacks, and a T-Shirt.

The program aims to give students cultural awareness and appreciation, develop cognitive and critical thinking skills and improve presentational skills. Registration for Catch the K-Wave is currently open to rising 6th to current 8th grade students in Pike Road, Montgomery and surrounding areas until April 30th with limited space.
