On June 10th at the Davis Theater, A-KEEP wants to proudly showcase a community theater performance made of KSL students, parents, family members, former event participants and ANY residents in the Montgomery area of one of the most popular of all Korean folktales, “The Fairy and the Lumberjack.” The script is based on the story called The Fairy and the Woodcutter and will be adapted from both Korean and Alabamian cultures to provide an opportunity to have a new interpretation of a well-known tale.
